Director, Office of Instructional Consulting: I consult and collaborate with faculty to promote the development of quality teaching and instructional innovations in the School of Education. This involves providing instructional development assistance to faculty and associate instructors in designing, developing, implementing, and assessing courses and improving personal teaching skills. Some areas of assistance include:
TEACHING CONSULTING: Help faculty identify teaching strengths and areas for improvement
COURSE DEVELOPMENT: Help faculty design or revise courses through planning and materials and actiivites development.
CLASSROOM ASSESSMENT: Help faculty collect fast, useful feedback on student learning and response to instruction.
CLASSROOM INNOVATIONS: Help faculty integrate new instructional strategies and/or instructional technologies into education.
DISTANCE AND DISTRIBUTED EDUCATION: Help faculty reconceptualize pedagogy for distance and online teaching and utilize technologies to implement communication and education.
