I am Professor and Director of the counseling psychology doctoral program at Indiana University Bloomington. I received my Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and have worked at Georgia State University and Northeastern University prior to joining the facutly at Indiana University in 2012. My research interests include career development; multicultural counseling; and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues. I was President of the National Career Develoment Association (2006-07) and Society of Counseling Psychology (2011-12). I also served on the following Boards of the American Psychological Association: Board of Educational Affairs (2007-09), Board for the Advancement of Psychology in the Public Interest (2010-12), and Membership Board (2013-15). I will serve on the Council of Representatives (on behalf of Division 17) of the American Psychological Association in 2015-17. I am a Fellow of the National Career Development Association, Asian American Psychological Association, and American Psychological Association (Divisions 17, 44, and 45).
